Greenland PM Thanks European Leaders for Support Against US Claims

The Prime Minister of Greenland, Jens-Frederik Nielsen, expressed his gratitude to European leaders for their support against the United States' claims regarding Greenland. Nielsen called on the US government to engage in respectful dialogue through appropriate diplomatic channels. European leaders, including those from France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, Poland, and Denmark, issued a joint statement emphasizing that Greenland and Denmark alone can decide on matters concerning the region. They also underscored their defense of the principles of the United Nations Charter, including sovereignty and territorial integrity. Security in the Arctic is considered a priority and must be achieved collectively, in coordination with all NATO allies.
