Iran: Over 3,400 People Killed Since Protests Began

At least 3,428 protesters have been killed in Iran since the beginning of the movement challenging the authority, announced the non-governmental organization Iran Human Rights, which also reported more than 10,000 arrests. The significant increase in the number of victims compared to the previous count is explained by 'new information received from sources within the Iranian Ministries of Health and Education,' the Norway-based organization clarifies. 'This number is an absolute minimum,' the NGO warns, noting that it has received 'new reports and testimonies showing even more the extent of the violence.'
