Italy Urges Citizens to Leave Iran

The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has advised Italian citizens residing in Iran, and able to do so, to leave the country. This move comes amid a period of heightened tension and uncertainty in the region, without specific reasons being given for the urging. Simultaneously, an emergency meeting of the Italian Foreign Ministry's crisis management unit is underway, with the participation of senior officials from various ministries and security services, as well as Italian ambassadors in the region. The purpose of the meeting is to thoroughly assess the situation and coordinate Italian efforts to protect its citizens. Italy is closely monitoring developments in Iran and is prepared to take further measures if deemed necessary.
