Giorgos Liagas referred to the loss of Giorgos Papadakis on the morning show "To Proino". The presenter contacted Papadakis' son, Phoebus, and his wife, Tina, expressing his condolences. He also shared a memory from a conversation he had with the deceased, where Papadakis had expressed his wish to be cremated instead of buried, saying characteristically: "No way am I going to be eaten by worms, I want to be cremated".
