Netanyahu: Turkish and Qatari Troops Will Not Enter Gaza - Disagreement with the US

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu firmly stated that Turkish or Qatari troops will not be allowed to enter the Gaza Strip, also revealing a disagreement with the United States regarding the role of Turkey and Qatar in the post-war management of the territory. This statement followed the White House's announcement that Turkey and Qatar would participate in an Executive Council for Gaza. Netanyahu emphasized his willingness to oppose the US when fundamental disagreements arise, but underscored the enduring friendship with President Trump. Furthermore, Netanyahu mentioned that Israeli forces currently control 52% of the Gaza Strip, “from a position of strength.” He reiterated the goals of demilitarizing the area and disarming Hamas, stating that they will be achieved “either the easy way or the hard way.” He also expressed the high priority given to recovering the remains of Ran Gvili, the last deceased hostage in Gaza. The Israeli Prime Minister is closely monitoring developments in Iran, praising the “heroic struggle” of the Iranian people against the regime and condemning the violence against them. He rejected accusations of being a dictator, emphasizing that the leaders of Iran are the true perpetrators of the slaughter of their people. Finally, Netanyahu warned that any aggressive action by Tehran would receive a decisive response from Israel, stressing that the country is prepared to retaliate with force that Iran has never experienced.
