Official: Martin Hongla Joins Aris on Loan

Aris announced the signing of Martin Hongla on loan from Granada, with an option to buy in the summer with a three-year contract. The 28-year-old Cameroonian midfielder has a rich background, having played for Spanish, Belgian and Italian teams. Hongla started his career at Granada, where he made 10 appearances in La Liga. He then had loan spells at Barcelona B and Karpaty Lviv. He returned to Granada for a second spell before moving to Royal Antwerp, where he won the Belgian Cup in 2020. In Italy, he played for Hellas Verona and for six months at Real Valladolid. He is an international with the Cameroonian national team, having also participated in the 2022 World Cup. Hongla expressed his joy at being part of the Aris family and pledged to try to help the team with all his strength.
