Organized Resuscitation a Priority for Cyprus' Healthcare System, Says Health Minister

The Minister of Health, Neofytos Charalambides, emphasized the importance of organized resuscitation throughout the healthcare system, welcoming the work of the Cyprus Resuscitation Council conference. He highlighted the Ministry's support for initiatives that enhance training, certification, and the quality of resuscitation services, as well as alignment with European guidelines. Resuscitation is considered an integral part of the strategy to strengthen patient safety and the resilience of the healthcare system. The Minister stated that the Ministry has begun drafting a “Unified Intrahospital Resuscitation Policy,” which is expected to be completed within the year, with the participation of all stakeholders.
