An old Cold War nuclear bunker, perched on the edge of a cliff overlooking Tunstall beach in East Yorkshire, is on the verge of collapsing into the North Sea due to coastal erosion. The building, constructed in 1959, featured underground chambers for short-term stays and was used as an observation post. The area has been identified as one of the fastest eroding coastlines in Britain, with local authorities warning the public to stay away. Amateur historian Davey Robinson estimates the collapse is just days away, as the building now hangs just eight meters above the sea. The bunker has been abandoned since the 1990s and has received no protection from erosion.
