Presidential Spokesperson Responds to Criticism and Addresses First Lady's Departure

The Director of the Press Office of the President, Viktor Papadopoulos, addressed the intense criticism leveled against the President, describing it as "unrestrained" and noting that the integrity of individuals is being questioned. He argued that this criticism comes from people who had voted for the very institution they are now criticizing, implying political motives. Regarding the First Lady's departure from the Organization, Mr. Papadopoulos emphasized that she worked with "zeal" to ensure its operation and expressed his dissatisfaction with accusations of serving private interests, highlighting the benefits many citizens received from the institution. He reiterated the view that the President has "clean hands" and will leave office in the same manner, while dismissing responsibility for statements made by private individuals. Finally, he stated that he does not fear the possible publication of new videos, but acknowledged that the country is in a period of "hybrid warfare".
