Quadripartite Meeting at the Presidential Palace with Important Messages. "For a Europe Open to All"

A quadripartite meeting was held at the Presidential Palace with the participation of the President of the Republic Nikos Christodoulides, the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, the President of the European Council Antonio Costa, and the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, focusing on the Ukrainian issue. The meeting took place within the framework of the Cypriot Presidency of the Council of the EU. President Christodoulides stated that Cyprus is ready to cooperate during its Presidency for an autonomous EU, open to the world. He is also expected to have a bilateral meeting with the President of the European Council to coordinate work on European priorities. The President will also meet with the President of Lebanon, Joseph Aoun, to discuss stability in the Eastern Mediterranean and regional developments. This was followed by the inauguration ceremony of the Cypriot Presidency with the participation of leaders and representatives of governments from various countries, as well as representatives of international organizations. President Christodoulides will host a formal dinner for the heads of the delegations.
