The General Accounting Office of the Republic has published detailed salary information for all state officials, as of January 1st, 2026, as part of efforts to enhance transparency and accountability in public administration. At the top of the salary scale is the President of the Republic, with a gross monthly salary of €14,401 and net earnings of €9,145. They are followed by the Attorney General, the Deputy Attorney General, the President and members of the Supreme Court, with gross earnings of €13,531 and a net amount of €9,207. In the next tier, the President and judges of the Court of Appeal receive €12,173 gross and €8,331 net. The President of the House of Representatives is paid €11,456 gross and €7,461 net, while the President of the EDY receives €11,431 gross and €7,241 net. Ministers, Deputy Ministers, and the Government Spokesperson receive €9,343 gross and €6,078 net. Members of Parliament/Religious Representatives receive €7,911 gross and €5,466 net. Net amounts are calculated based on current tax brackets and institutional deductions, with the General Accounting Office clarifying that this publication aims to strengthen transparency and accountability in public administration.
