Seven Arrests Made in Police Operations: Theft, Drugs, and Drunk Driving

Police conducted targeted preventative operations in urban areas throughout the night, aiming to prevent serious criminal activity and protect citizens. During these operations, a total of seven individuals were arrested for various offenses. Specifically, one person was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, one for possession of an offensive weapon, one for illegal possession of property and drugs, one for theft, one for failing to appear in court, one for speeding, and one for illegal possession of property. A total of 371 vehicles and 214 individuals were checked, and 21 premises were inspected. Traffic controls resulted in 133 reports for various violations, four of which concerned driving under the influence of alcohol. Additionally, six vehicles were impounded. These operations are part of a broader, ongoing, and enhanced preventative plan by the Police, with increased police presence, targeted checks, and immediate operational action in all provinces. The goal is to further prevent crime and enhance the sense of security for citizens. The Police are committed to the continuous implementation of these measures, adapting their operations to current needs and challenges, in order to more effectively address crime and protect society.
