Six Sudden Deaths Reported Across Crete in One Day

Six sudden deaths occurred across Crete within a 24-hour period, involving five men and one woman. The deaths were recorded in areas of Heraklion, Chania, and Lassithi. A 61-year-old Dutch man was found dead inside his caravan in Elounda, while a 47-year-old man died at his home in the Pedias area. Additionally, a 78-year-old man was found dead in Heraklion. In Chania, a 61-year-old man passed away at the hospital after feeling unwell, and a 75-year-old woman was found dead in Apokoronas. Finally, a 51-year-old man died at his home in Platanias. Police have been informed of all incidents, and autopsies have been ordered to determine the cause of death.
