Ski Slope at Troodos Closes 24 Hours After Opening - Unknown Individuals Entered with 4x4 Vehicles

The Sun Valley I (Aphrodite) ski slope at Troodos closed just 24 hours after its opening due to damage caused by unknown individuals who entered the slope with 4x4 vehicles. The condition was deemed non-operational and dangerous for skiers. According to the kitasweather meteorological platform, this phenomenon often occurs when there is little snow and does not prevent vehicles from entering the slope. The fences that had been placed to prevent vehicle access were breached. The slope will remain closed until the necessary restoration work is carried out. In the meantime, the Family Run SV 1 (for beginners) and the Sun Valley BABY Lift are operational. The lift at the North Face remains open for hiking and views, but will not be used for skiing until further notice.
