Stelios Bi-Communal Awards for Business Co-operation in Cyprus 2026: Entrepreneurship as a Bridge for Peace and Development

Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou, Founder and Owner of the easy family of brands and President of the Stelios Philanthropic Foundation, confirms for the 16th year his commitment to supporting cooperation between Greek Cypriots and Turkish Cypriots. On June 4, 2026, he will award the Stelios Bi-Communal Awards for Business Co-operation, increasing the total prize money to €500,000 to be distributed among 18 Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot entrepreneurs. For the second consecutive year, Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou has further increased the monetary awards, directly supporting the nine winning, bi-communal business teams. This financial boost creates the conditions for reinvestment, growth, and further strengthening of their business activities in both communities. The prize money will be distributed as follows: The Gold winning team will receive €150,000 (€75,000 per entrepreneur). Two Silver awards of €100,000 each (€50,000 per entrepreneur), and six Bronze awards of €25,000 each (€12,500 per entrepreneur). Applications can be submitted from January 8 to April 30, 2026, through the Foundation's website. To be eligible, businesses must have an annual turnover of at least €10,000 and employ at least one person other than the owner. Evidence of joint business activity in both communities is required. Previous winners and candidates are also eligible to apply. The award ceremony will take place at the Foundation's headquarters in Nicosia.
