Αιφνιδιαστικό έλεγχο στο Στρατόπεδο Μ.Καϊλη και στο Φυλάκιο ΜΠΑΡΣΑΚ, πραγματοποίησε χθες το μεσημέρι ο Γενικός Ελεγκτής.
Όπως αναφέρεται σε ανάρτηση της Ελεγκτικής Υπηρεσίας, σκοπός του ελέγχου ήταν η σίτιση των οπλιτών.
«Ποσότητα και ποιότητα φαγητού, έλεγχος διαδικασιών παραλαβής, διανομής και σερβιρίσματος, θερμοκρασίας και γεύσης φαγητού. Σημειώνουμε τη συνεργασία του Διοικητή και όλων των αξιωματικών κατά τη διάρκεια του ελέγχου», αναφέρει η ανάρτηση.

Τονίζει ότι τους επόμενους μήνες θα ακολουθήσει σχετική Ειδική Έκθεση.
Όπως φαίνεται και από τις φωτογραφίες, ο Γενικός Ελεγκτής συνέφαγε και συνομίλησε με στρατιώτες.

Surprise Inspection at Military Camp: Auditor General Dines with Soldiers (pics)
The Auditor General of Cyprus conducted a surprise inspection at the M. Kailis Camp and the BARSAC Outpost, focusing on the food provided to soldiers. The inspection covered the quantity and quality of the food, the procedures for receiving, distributing, and serving meals, as well as the temperature and taste of the food. According to the Audit Office, the Commander and all officers fully cooperated during the inspection. The Auditor General even dined with the soldiers and spoke with them to gain a firsthand understanding of the situation. The inspection took place on Thursday, January 22nd, and the findings will be presented in a Special Report to be published in the coming months. The Audit Office emphasizes the importance of ensuring the quality and quantity of food for soldiers, as well as the proper functioning of related procedures.
