Taxi Strike in Cyprus Disrupts Services

Taxi drivers in Cyprus have begun a 24-hour strike from 6:00 AM Tuesday to 6:00 AM Wednesday, protesting the lack of response from relevant authorities following a previous work stoppage. The Pan-Cypriot Confederation of Taxi Owners (POAT) threatens an indefinite strike starting January 27th if their concerns are not addressed. The strike is affecting taxi services at Larnaca and Paphos airports, as well as in Limassol.
