The Governor of Aleppo, Azam al-Gharib, stated on Saturday that ongoing clashes in the Kurdish-majority neighborhoods of the city in northern Syria have displaced approximately 155,000 people. Residents of the Sheikh Maksoud and Ashrafieh neighborhoods have been moved to other parts of the city and the nearby countryside. The situation in Aleppo remains unstable, with clashes continuing and causing a humanitarian crisis. The displacement of a large number of people creates serious problems with housing and access to basic necessities. Authorities are calling on the international community to intervene to stop the violence and help the displaced. Humanitarian aid is essential to meet the needs of those affected.
