Ursula von der Leyen to Visit Cyprus on Wednesday

The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, will visit Nicosia on Wednesday to attend the official launch of the Cypriot Presidency of the Council of the EU. Her visit follows a trip to Paris, where she will participate in a meeting of the Alliance of Willing for Ukraine. After Nicosia, von der Leyen will travel to other countries in the wider region on Thursday, namely Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon, highlighting the importance of broader regional cooperation.
