Venezuela: Interim President Vows to Resist Aggression

Venezuela will resist the "criminal aggression" of the United States "through diplomatic channels," interim President Delcy Rodríguez stated. This declaration came during a video conference with the presidents of Brazil and Colombia, and the Prime Minister of Spain, where Rodríguez referred to the US bombings of January 3rd as a "serious, criminal and illegal attack." Despite the tension, Venezuela and the US have expressed a willingness to restore diplomatic relations, with Qatar offering to mediate the talks, based on mutual respect and international law.
