Venezuela Turns Away from China, Towards US with $2 Billion Oil Exports – Chevron Gains Full Control

Venezuela has reached an agreement with the United States to export crude oil worth up to $2 billion, marking a shift towards Washington and away from China, which has been a key destination for Venezuelan oil exports in recent years. This agreement is linked to Donald Trump’s strategic pursuits and the recent military operation in Venezuela. Venezuela will redirect supplies from China while avoiding cuts in production. Trump seeks full access to the Venezuelan oil industry, on the condition that it opens to American companies. Chevron has taken control of the oil flows from Venezuela to the US. The agreement includes the delivery of 30 to 50 million barrels of oil currently under sanctions, with the revenue controlled by Trump to ensure it benefits the people of Venezuela and the United States.
