Video Regarding the Presidential Palace: Revelations about a Meeting with Cyfield's George Chrysos - A €150 Million Project and a Romanian Name Involved

A carefully crafted video has sparked reactions in Cyprus, presenting an alleged corruption mechanism within the Presidential Palace. According to the footage, individuals posing as investors approached George Chrysos, CEO of Cyfield, expressing interest in a €150 million energy project in Vasiliko. Their aim was to determine if the company, like others, makes contributions to the Presidential Palace as part of its corporate social responsibility. The meeting took place in London in November, with one participant presenting themselves with a Romanian name and accent. A similar approach was made to former Energy Minister George Lakkotrypis, and the case is now being investigated by the TAE Headquarters, with the assistance of the Electronic Crime Sub-Directorate and the Forensic Investigations Service.
