Weak 2.8 Magnitude Earthquake in Limassol

A weak earthquake, measuring 2.8 on the Richter scale, was recorded in Limassol on Monday (December 29th) at 16:09. The epicenter of the earthquake was located 10 km west of Limassol, with a focal depth of 11.8 km. The earthquake was felt in areas of Limassol, such as Ypsonas and Kato Polemidia, but no damage or injuries were reported. The European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) confirmed the seismic activity.
