Winter Arrives: Rain, Storms and Snow in the Forecast

The Meteorological Service announces a deterioration of the weather with rain, storms and snow. A weak low-pressure system is affecting the area, and a cold air mass is expected from tomorrow. Today, the weather will be partly cloudy, with the possibility of local showers gradually intensifying into cloudiness with rain and thunderstorms, mainly in the west and south. In the higher mountains, sleet or snow is expected. Winds will be southwesterly, moderate to strong, with possible strengthening on the windward side. The sea will be rough to wavy, with temperatures reaching 19 degrees inland and on the coast, and 6 degrees in the mountains. Tonight, the weather will be mainly cloudy with local showers and isolated thunderstorms, while snowfall is expected in the mountains. Winds will be southwesterly, initially strong to very strong, but will gradually weaken to moderate. The sea will remain rough to wavy. The temperature will drop to 9 degrees inland, 14 on the west coast, around 12 on the other coasts and 4 in the mountains, with the possibility of frost on the leeward side. The weather will remain cloudy with rain and snow in the mountains on Monday and Tuesday, while the temperature will drop significantly, falling below normal levels for the season. Wednesday is expected to improve with mainly clear skies and a rise in temperature.
