Zelensky: Document with Security Guarantees for Ukraine Ready for Trump's Approval

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that the document outlining bilateral security guarantees for Ukraine is “essentially ready” and will be submitted for approval to former US President Donald Trump. The announcement followed talks with European and American teams, where documents on Ukraine's economic development and a framework for ending the war were also discussed. Zelensky emphasized that successful cooperation with partners is Ukraine's main achievement, as it has been possible to discuss complex issues and propose potential options for the final completion of the guarantee document. Ukraine expects responses from the American side, which will contact Russia to determine if Moscow is willing to end the war. Zelensky stressed the need to increase pressure on Russia, alongside ongoing negotiations. The effectiveness of the security guarantees will be judged by the partners' ability to exert effective pressure on the aggressor. Finally, Zelensky announced that Ukraine is preparing for new contacts with its international partners to inform them about the consequences of Russian attacks and request further support.
