Patient Air-Lifted from Ship to Nicosia Hospital

The National E-D NEARXOS Plan was activated early Friday morning for the air-lifting of a patient from a ship sailing 125 nautical miles south of Limassol. According to the JCC, around 02:15, a helicopter from the Police Air Operations Unit was mobilized to carry out the medical air-lift, with a specialized nurse from the Ambulance Service’s special air-lifting team on board. The patient was delivered to the General Hospital of Nicosia at 08:30 for further hospitalization. CNA
