Troubleshooting the GESY Software: A Definitive Solution is Being Implemented

The Health Insurance Organization (HIO) announced that an action plan is being implemented to definitively resolve the problems that arose in the GESY Information System. The cause of the technical problems has been identified by the contractor, NCR Cyprus Ltd, which has already implemented a temporary technical adjustment to limit the extent of the problem. A comprehensive action plan is being prepared for the definitive resolution of the problems, which is expected to be implemented within the next few days. The meeting on the issue was held under the presidency of the Minister of Health, Neofytos Charalambides. The HIO is closely monitoring the progress of the issue and looks forward to the close cooperation of the contractor for the immediate restoration of the system's operation. GESY providers will be systematically informed of any new developments.
