Car Hits 60-Year-Old Pedestrian in Heraklion

A 60-year-old pedestrian was hit by a car in Heraklion, Crete, in Nea Alikarnassos. The accident occurred shortly after 9 am on Saturday, when the woman attempted to cross Kazantzidis Avenue perpendicularly. An ambulance from EKAB immediately arrived at the scene and transported the injured woman to Venizeleio Hospital. According to initial reports, the woman has orthopedic injuries and her health condition is not worrying.
