During his visit to Pyongyang, the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, exchanged remarkable gifts with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. Lukashenko gifted Kim an automatic weapon, "in case enemies appear," while Kim presented him with a sword and a vase with Lukashenko's portrait. Both leaders expressed their support for each other and criticized the West for its interventionist policies. Belarus and North Korea have close ties, as both countries are allies of Russia and have provided support for the war in Ukraine.
