Vance: US Will Withdraw from Iran "Soon" and Gas Prices Will Fall – 2,500 Marines Arrived in the Middle East

US Vice President Vance referred to the war against Iran during an interview, stating that while the US has achieved most of its military objectives, Trump plans to continue the war “for a little while longer” to ensure they do not have to return to the region in the future. Vance said, “We need to neutralize [the Iranian government] and that is our goal.” Vance acknowledged that gas prices have risen as a result of the conflict, but said they would fall soon. “We are taking care of business, we will be out of there soon, and gas prices will come down.” 2,500 Marines Arrived in the Middle East, the US military announced. A US Navy ship carrying approximately 2,500 Marines arrived in the Middle East, the US Central Command announced today. The USS Tripoli, an amphibious assault ship, and its Marine Expeditionary Unit of 31, are based in Japan. They conducted exercises in the area around Taiwan when ordered to the Middle East nearly two weeks ago. US Central Command said that in addition to the Marines, the same ship is also bringing transport and attack fighter aircraft, as well as amphibious assault vehicles to the region.
