InPeace Project to Hold First Informative Meeting

The bi-communal research project InPeace: Inclusive Peacebuilding, funded by the European Union and implemented by ICLAIM and the Human Rights Platform, is organizing its first informative meeting on January 29th in Nicosia. The project focuses on bi-communal technical committees and aims to promote peace and cooperation between the two communities. InPeace highlights that while the Technical Committees have achieved significant work, the majority of Cypriots are unaware of their activities. The informative meeting is aimed at journalists, researchers, civil society organizations, and other stakeholders, in order to raise awareness about the work of the Committees and promote the information to the wider public. The meeting will present the project's findings, the activities of the Technical Committees, and the challenges they face. Dr. Nasia Hadjigeorgiou, the project coordinator, will present the key points and participate in a dialogue with the attendees. The meeting will be held in Greek.
