Bezos' Blue Origin to Launch Internet Satellites

Jeff Bezos' space company, Blue Origin, has announced a plan to deploy 5,408 satellites into space for a communications network that will serve data centers, governments, and businesses. This move marks Blue Origin's entry into the “satellite constellation” market, currently dominated by Elon Musk's SpaceX. The TeraWave network is scheduled to begin deployment in the fourth quarter of 2027 and is designed to deliver data speeds of up to 6 Tbps anywhere on Earth.
