The increase compared to the third quarter of 2023 is even greater, reaching 20%. The significant increase in revenue comes from Class B operators (online betting), which increased by 10% compared to 2024 and by 25% compared to 2023. Conversely, revenues from Class A operators (land-based betting) fell slightly by 1%. The largest share of revenue comes from online betting, with €235.67 million. Player winnings also increased by 9% compared to the previous year, reaching €277.45 million, with the largest share accruing to online betting players (€214.29 million). Betting receipts totaled €35.03 million, showing a slight decrease compared to 2024. The Authority continues its efforts to block illegal betting websites, with the list now including 21,825 websites, an increase of 5% compared to the previous quarter.
