The Cypriot flight attendant who had been detained by Turkish authorities for questioning regarding the crash of the Libyan plane in Ankara has been released and has already left Turkey. Nicosia was informed of the detention from the beginning. The flight attendant was a member of the crew that had transported the ill-fated jet to Turkey. The detention was carried out by MIT, the Turkish intelligence service, from the hotel where she was staying. However, according to Turkish sources, the investigation did not yield any "concrete" evidence against her. The case was initially revealed by the Turkish website T24. The release and departure of the flight attendant mark the end of her involvement in the investigation into the plane crash. Cyprus had expressed its concern over the detention and had requested her immediate release.
