Nine Former Aris Players Demand Transfer Ban Until Debts are Paid

Nine former Aris players have filed an application with the Disciplinary Committee of the EPO, requesting a transfer ban on the team until outstanding debts from previous contracts are settled. The players claim that while they have been vindicated by the competent authorities, the decisions are not being implemented, and therefore they cannot receive the money owed to them. This move follows similar applications from former players of other teams, such as Iraklis, AEK, and OFI, who are also facing problems with the settlement of past debts. The application is based on decisions by FIFA and the Court of Arbitration for Sport, which recognize sporting succession and oblige PAEs to settle the debts of previous PAEs.
