May 1st: Celebration of Several Saints on Labor Day

Saint Isidora was a nun known for her virtue and devotion to God. Saint Tamara was a queen who became a martyr of the faith. Saint Philosopher was a theologian and writer who contributed to the development of Christian thought. Today, those who bear the names Jeremiah, Panaretos, Isidora, Tamara, and Philosopher celebrate their name day.
