«Είμαστε πολύ τυχεροί επειδή η μητέρα πατρίδα Τουρκία είναι στο πλευρό μας», δήλωσε ο "υπουργός εξωτερικών" Ταχσίν Ερτουγρούλογλου από την Κωνσταντινούπολη.
Σε ομιλία του στο συνέδριο «Στρατηγικής επικοινωνίας 2026» στην Κωνσταντινούπολη και ειδικότερα στο πάνελ με τίτλο «Νέο πλαίσιο στην παγκόσμια τάξη: Η προοπτική της στρατηγικής επικοινωνίας», υποστήριξε ότι, από τουρκοκυπριακής πλευράς, η παλιά παγκόσμια τάξη έχει καταρρεύσει και ισχυρίστηκε ότι τα πέντε μόνιμα μέλη του Συμβουλίου Ασφαλείας του ΟΗΕ επιβραβεύουν τους Ελληνοκυπρίους και τιμωρούν τους Τουρκοκυπρίους.
Αναφερόμενος στην παραπληροφόρηση, είπε ότι αποτελεί ένα από τα μεγαλύτερα προβλήματα που εξακολουθούν να αντιμετωπίζουν οι Τουρκοκύπριοι και υποστήριξε ότι και η μη αναγνώριση του ψευδοκράτους συνδέεται με αυτό.
Παράλληλα, ισχυρίστηκε ότι οι Τουρκοκύπριοι αντιμετωπίζονται από τη διεθνή κοινότητα σαν ένα είδος «διεθνούς παράνομου μορφώματος», ενώ αναφέρθηκε και στη στήριξη που παρέχει η Τουρκία για την αντιμετώπιση των δυσκολιών.
«Θα αντιταχθούμε στην αδικία», είπε, για να προσθέσει: «Είμαστε πολύ τυχεροί, η μητέρα πατρίδα Τουρκία είναι στο πλευρό μας».

Ertugruloglu: Motherland Turkey is on Our Side
"We are very lucky because the motherland Turkey is on our side," said the "foreign minister" Tahsin Ertugruloglu from Istanbul. Speaking at a conference in Istanbul, he claimed that the old world order has collapsed and that the five permanent members of the UN Security Council “reward” the Greek Cypriots and “punish” the Turkish Cypriots. Mr. Ertugruloglu stated that the non-recognition of the pseudo-state is linked to misinformation and that Turkish Cypriots are treated by the international community as a kind of “international illegal formation”. He also pointed out the support provided by Turkey to address the difficulties faced by Turkish Cypriots. Mr. Ertugruloglu accused the international community of injustice and emphasized that Turkey will oppose it. He reiterated that Turkey is on the side of the Turkish Cypriots and will continue to support them.
