Cypriot Singer-Songwriter Della Wins Prestigious Music Moves Europe 2026 Award

Cypriot singer-songwriter Della has been named the winner of the Music Moves Europe 2026 award, the European Union's leading prize for emerging artists. Della is one of five winners of this year's competition and will receive a cash prize of €10,000. The Music Moves Europe Awards recognize European musical creativity, innovation, and cultural diversity. The awards ceremony took place at Eurosonic Noorderslag (ESNS) in Groningen, Netherlands, where Camille Yembe (Belgium), Carpetman (Ukraine), Sarah Julia (Netherlands), and Sofie Royer (Austria) were also honored. Spanish artist Lia Kali won the Grand Jury Prize and the Public Choice Award, receiving additional cash prizes and a voucher for sustainable touring. European Commissioner for Culture, Glenn Micallef, warmly congratulated the winners, emphasizing the importance of the awards in showcasing Europe's emerging talents. The Creative Europe program supports the awards, which have highlighted significant names in the European music scene over the past 22 years. The jury consisted of distinguished professionals from the music industry, including Jess Isitt (BBC Radio 1), Filip Costelecký (Colours of Ostrava), Kenza Naïmi El Fezaazi (Red Bulletin/FIP), Annika Wells (Spotify), and Hudeblin (MME Public Choice Award winner 2025). Della's win is a significant recognition for the Cypriot music scene and an opportunity to further develop her career.
