Moscow Takes Control of Four Rockwool Factories

The Russian government has taken control of four Rockwool factories in Russia, the Danish building materials company announced. Rockwool stated that a presidential decree was approved, providing for external management to take control of its Russian subsidiary. The company no longer has control of its assets in the country. The group, which reported revenues of 261 million euros from its activities in Russia last year, says it is “not optimistic” about the possibility of overturning the Russian decision.
