Turkey Warns Foreign Intervention in Iran Would Create Regional Crisis

Turkey has expressed concern over the possibility of foreign intervention in Iran, warning that such a move could lead to a crisis in the region. AKP spokesperson Omer Celik stated that Turkey does not want chaos in Iran and emphasized the importance of resolving problems internally through Iranian society and national will. Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan noted that the protests in Iran are being manipulated by external actors, while also stressing the need for an agreement between Iran and the United States for regional stability. Turkey is calling for dialogue and preventing escalation, especially from Israel, which has expressed hope for the liberation of the Iranian people. According to the HRANA human rights organization, the protests have resulted in the deaths of 544 people and the arrest of 10,681 individuals.
