Investigation Launched After Family Files Complaint Over Patient Care at Larnaca Hospital

The family of a 42-year-old patient hospitalized at the General Hospital of Larnaca has filed a complaint regarding serious omissions during her care, which led to a brain hemorrhage and coma. The complaint states that the patient requested her catheter not to be removed, but was not listened to, and also alleges that the nursing staff did not respond to her repeated calls for assistance. The OCYP has announced that an investigation into the incident has been launched and a team has been appointed to gather information.
