Commission: Calls for Proposals Open to Support the Agri-Food Sector

The European Commission announced the opening of calls for proposals for 2026, aimed at supporting the agri-food sector. Up to €160 million will be allocated to co-finance campaigns and events promoting sustainable and high-quality EU agri-food products, both within and outside the Union. Key non-EU markets to be targeted include the United Kingdom, Japan, South Korea, China, Singapore, and North America. The Commission will allocate a total of €205 million to raise consumer awareness of European agricultural products and quality schemes, through the joint signature “Enjoy, it’s from Europe”. The calls will be open for three months, and an information day will be held in Brussels and online on January 27 and 28.
