Trial of Real Estate Agent Accused of Encroachment Continues with New Witnesses

The trial of German real estate agent Eva Isabella Künzel, accused of encroaching on Greek Cypriot properties in the occupied territories, continues. The defense argues that the defendant could not have known the ownership status of the properties she promoted, as advertisements did not differentiate between Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot ownership. Furthermore, the defendant's lawyer accused the investigating authorities of political motives and lack of impartiality in the investigation. Investigating officer Dimitra Stavrou rejected the accusations, emphasizing that the case involves criminal offenses and that the investigation was conducted objectively, collecting evidence from both sides. New prosecution witnesses will be examined in the next hearing.
