Man Dies After Stabbing in Paphos Following Dispute with Friends

A 41-year-old man has died in Paphos after a stabbing incident following a dispute with friends. According to the Police, the man was taken to hospital with a knife wound but succumbed to his injuries despite the doctors' efforts. The incident occurred in the Peyeia area after an agreement with a 30-year-old man to resolve differences. During the argument, the 30-year-old allegedly stabbed the 41-year-old with a knife. The 30-year-old was arrested and is in custody to assist with the investigation. Four other men who were in the car with the victim were also taken to hospital with minor injuries. The Police are investigating the case as premeditated murder and are collecting testimonies and evidence to determine the exact circumstances of the incident. The victim was a Bulgarian national and his identity has been released to the public to assist the investigation.
