Panikos Leonidis: Decision on New Prisons Important, But Results are Key

The parliamentary representative of DIKO, Panikos Leonidis, welcomed the statements of the Minister of Justice regarding the construction of new prisons. He emphasized that the decision to build the new prisons is an important development. Mr. Leonidis stated that the measures announced by Minister Fytiris will be followed up, which he believes indicates a determination to promote positive changes. He acknowledged that the implementation of the nine announced measures will take time. However, Mr. Leonidis stressed that the most important thing is to see tangible results from these efforts.
