The cultural agenda for Monday, January 12th includes a musical presentation of the digital album “Moments” in Nicosia, featuring poetry by Leucos Zafeiriou and music by Evagoras Karayiorgis. Zafeiriou's poems reflect the pain and anxiety for Cyprus after 1974. In Paphos, the Lexi Theatre presents Vasilis Katsikounouris' play “The Milk”, while in Nicosia, the Film Friends Club screens the film “The Island of Amrum”. In Limassol, the Film Club screens the film “Dreams”. The award ceremony for the Cyprus Archaeological Heritage Rescue and Promotion Award 2025 took place in Nicosia, with Alain Le Brun and Odile Daune-Le Brun as the winners. The award was presented by the President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides. At the same time, various galleries in Nicosia continue to host photography and art exhibitions. Finally, the site-specific installation “Water Movement Nicosia” by Maurice Cazzolli is presented in the Municipality Square.
