In his New Year's message, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan warned that Turkey will not tolerate any attempts to create faits accomplis, theft, or piracy in its 'Blue Homeland,' referring to its maritime claims in the Eastern Mediterranean. He reiterated Ankara's position on the region and emphasized the monitoring of challenges against Turkey's interests and the Turkish Cypriot population.
