Former Rapper Becomes Prime Minister of Nepal at 35

Balendra Shah, a former rapper, was sworn in as Prime Minister of Nepal at the age of 35. His election marks a new era for the country, as the Independent National Party (RSP) he leads won the parliamentary elections by a landslide, securing 182 of the 275 seats in parliament. Shah is the youngest prime minister of Nepal in decades and the first "Madhesi" to lead the country. His first priority is to restore political stability and create jobs, while also addressing issues of corruption and poverty.
