It also took first place in the increase in tourism revenue for the first half of the year, among Mediterranean countries, and first place in the increase in overnight stays in tourist accommodations. The Deputy Minister of Tourism stated that Cyprus's tourism businesses had a very successful year, with increased revenue and improved service quality.
