€30 Million Heist in Germany: 3,000 Bank Lockers Breached

Unknown perpetrators committed a daring burglary at a bank branch in Gelsenkirchen, Germany, during the Christmas holidays. Using a specialized drill, the burglars managed to enter the locker area through a neighboring parking garage, breaching approximately 3,200 lockers and stealing loot worth €30 million. The burglary was discovered accidentally by firefighters investigating the building after a fire alarm, which was likely triggered by the dust created by the drill. Police estimate that the burglary was professionally planned and executed, and the bank is already in contact with the insurance company to compensate customers.
